I came Nurture Through Nature from a place we call California. I had come to NTN because of a dream of having a time for solitude and reflection. NTN was able to offer me a space to fully unplug and immerse in a new experience of Life, one that had mostly me in it and some wood splitting.
I arrived in the first week of November 2008. I had no idea what cold was. My first winter I saw more snow than I had in my entire life. I stayed in the cozy cabin on the amazing land of NTN, watching snow fall, splitting wood, taking winter walks, staring at the stars, listening to NPR and sipping large amounts of tea.
When spring came, shaking off four months of hibernation, I found myself feeling a bit more social. Jen and I began having dialogue about NTN, Life and our journeys. Before we knew it, 3 months later, I was opening a yoga studio with her and eventually partnering with her full time at Nurture Through Nature. I am Grateful.
As a yoga teacher, retreat co-facilitator, or facilitator of The Work, what I offer comes from everything experiential. Doing my own work over the years and using different methods and tools; religion, rebellion, EMDR, psychotherapy, energy healing, yoga, meditation and The Work... all in search of sanity, a clear mind, and love.
Both Yoga and Inquiry have stood the test of time for me, though every experience has been invaluable. I come bringing personal experience to the table with a mind and heart that continues to open more and more. My intention is to offer to every person in front of me a space of deep acceptance; truly seeing that we are the same and there is nothing in you that is not in me. |
