Holon Healing offers Guided Forest Therapy Walks and Wilderness Therapy Excursions for individual self-care, schools, businesses and retreat groups~

Guided Forest Therapy walk~ A Forest Therapy walk is a guided meander through the forest to re-establish a truer sense of overall
health and well-being. Through simple sensory invitations of awareness, participants strengthen their connection to the natural environment around them. This connection has been proven to create profound changes for both people’s mental and physical health. Research shows that prolonged moments in forests not only reduce stress, anxiety, depression and fatigue, but also subject us to inhaling Phytoncides which are known to create white blood cells. These white blood cells, know as NK killers, find and destroy cancer cells, as well as regulate autoimmune diseases. A gentle and kind opportunity to experience the magic and messages of nature.

I am a certified Maine Guide, Corporate Facilitator, and Forest Therapy Guide. My passion is helping others create a deeper connection with each other, nature, and themselves through experiences in the outdoors. I have been working in this field for over 20 years and I am consistently inspired to recreate and answer the call to the healing that is needed between humans and the natural world.

The term “Holon” is a scientific word that means; a whole within a whole, and Holon Healing is based on the belief that as we heal ourselves we help heal the world.

Holon Healing @ Nurture Through Nature is beyond excited to design your next privately booked Forest Therapy Walk, Canoe Coaching Session, or Corporate Team-building program.
*Canoe Coaching, Forest Therapy Walks, and Team-building programs are all activities that are done with safe social distancing.

  • The weekend was very powerful and I feel renewed and ready to do The Work consistently, and meditate more. I meditated this morning with your meditation CD and it was very peaceful. I think I will carry it through the day.–Lynn, Cape Elizabeth, Maine

  • Thanks again for amazing weekend. It was a real gift to myself. You are a natural leader of such experiences. It is obvious that The Work is your passion. Everyone seemed to get what they needed.–Terri, The Work Eco-retreat

  • THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU...the weekend made a significant impression on my ability to look at life.I am going to be able to...be more present. I have a feeling that The Work is something I will never let go of. I enjoyed your company and thanks for being you!–Chrystal, The Work Eco-Retreat

  • We all can use a coaching session of the caliber that this beautiful spirited being offers. She promises to challenge the truth of who we really are. I'm so grateful to have had so far a brief experience of her depth of connection to inner truth. Thank you Jen for all you bring to us. –Jake, The Work workshop

  • Jen, Tender work today, thank you... So exciting to imagine a world where our deepest shame can be beheld by another, mirrored back, and in that moment of inquiry be delivered into a sweet, sacred, experience of unconditional love...for ourselves! Grace as oxygen.–MLB, Michigan

  • The Work™ is amazing. I was ready to not talk to my sister for a very long time. I had a lot of thoughts that were separating me from her. Jen took me through one session and it just turned everything around IN ME. My sister didn't change, but it doesn't make any difference because the thoughts and emotions of pain and hurt are gone.–SJW, Kansas City

  • The School for The Work™ is unlike any other school on earth - instead of focusing on learning, students unlearn the fearful stories we have innocently attached to. Graduates are prepared to facilitate this transformative and simple method in unleashing stressful thoughts and beliefs that cause internal pain and suffering. Being free doesn't come from learning new concepts. It is who you already are once your limiting beliefs have been met with understanding.–Byron Katie
