Testimonials from cabin-stayers:
"You have been an incredible hostess and guide. It is clear that you care about he Earth and its resources right down to your soul. Thank you for the fire-tending skills. I will be back to learn more." Take care, Dawn, Connecticut "The sky creeked
strangely, the snow loved coldly and we felt all cuddly and warm inside.
I want to thank you for this precious piece of space and silence which
gave me a sense of territory, a vital space in which I can evolve and
breathe and think. It was delicious. The nature is similar to where I
come from but more vast. I am eager to taste another good night of sleep
here."
Yours sincerely,
Michael and Eva, Montreal
"Jen, Two candles
sit beside me as I write this to you. My nearest neighbor is a sound,
the sound of my ink pen. Something has happened these past two days, a
closeness...I no longer fear myself or what I am, or am not. Alone
perhaps...perhaps not. The later is my experience... I am not alone,
because creation, these woods, only show me the grandeur and majesty of
their creator. Thank you for a lovely time." Blessings and
Peace, Jacob, Bowling Green, Kentucky
"Thank you so
much for sharing this beautiful, quiet, magical place---looking forward
to returning soon!"
Linda, Cambridge, Massachusetts "Phil and I came
here to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary and so much more: no
teenagers, pets, jobs, chores!
A time to truly enjoy one another without all those distractions! What a time it's been! On the Mountain View Trail we saw a fawn ( little, baby spots and all!) and found the first of the season wild blueberries. Tiny but tasty! We ooohed and aaahed the sleuths of water running in the Mountain Brook over the huge, smooth granite ledges. A Must See! More photo ops than can be taken! Also saw mayflowers in blossom by water's edge in several places. A first for us! From the porch we enjoyed watching a wee chipmunk--barely bigger than a mouse! We saw a hawk miss his dinner when this chippy managed to evade his mishap! We've seen both hairy and downy woodpeckers. Kayaking has been wonderful. It's been delightful just to listen; crickets, frogs, birds, scampering in the underbrush. The quiet has nourished our souls! This has been delightful! Many thanks!" Kathy and Phil,
Walpole, Massachussetts
"Jen, Thanks so much for creating this magical
space of rest, peace and reflection. "Thank you, thank you, thank you for this perfect
wonderland retreat! We are excited to come back...What a gift." "Jen, It is so nice to have found such a safe
place to relax and re-connect with Spirit and Nature. I admire the way you
are true to yourself by living sustainably and sharing your world with
others." Local Winter Activities Snow
